If your alarm goes off, a signal is sent to our Monitoring Control Centre – no matter what time of day or night it is. Monitoring agents will personally contact the house and then you, your keyholders and the Gardaí/emergency services if necessary. They will ask for an agreed verification word, a password which verifies you and your keyholders as users of the alarm system. If the verification word is not given (or is given incorrectly), the relevant emergency services will be called. If you are under duress in your home, you should give the worng verification word which will alert monitoring agents that you are in trouble.
