There has been a recent increase in attempted phishing calls to Irish landlines from callers claiming to be from utility companies. These calls may claim to be from phone or electricity providers, banks, or possibly your alarm company. During these calls a fictitious agent pertaining to be from an Irish company, may claim there are errors with your system, account or connection and look for personal information.
If you do receive a call like this, and are suspicious for any reason, please ensure that no personal information is exchanged and terminate the call immediately.
As always, if you have any questions, please contact our customer support team on 1850 753 753.
