YWith alarm automations, you can easily set your alarm system to automatically partial arm (arm your alarm when at home) or disarm (turn your alarm off) at specific times.
Is it possible to set up repeat alarm automations?
Yes. You can choose to have your alarm automations repeat daily or weekly.
What is the benefit of alarm automation?
With alarm automation, you reduce the risk of forgetting to arm/disarm your system. This is a very convenient feature that can be used to set up multiple alarm automations that fit in with your lifestyle.
Is it possible to schedule alarm automation while the alarm is fully armed?
It’s not possible to create a full arm alarm automation. It’s only possible to create partial arming or disarming events.
Can all customers use the alarm automations?
You must have a Smart Alarm System to be able to set up alarm automations.
What if I can’t see automations in my app?
You must have a Smart Alarm System to set up alarm automations and please ensure that you have downloaded the latest version of the app.
What’s the maximum number of automations I can set up?
It’s possible to program up to 24 automations per system.
Can I skip a partial arm alarm automation?
If arm/disarm notifications are enabled, you will receive a notification of scheduled partial arming thirty minutes in advance and can choose to skip partial arm.
Can I skip a disarm alarm automation?
No, it’s only possible to skip a partial arming automation. You can delete a disarming automation at any time or edit it and uncheck the current day if needed.
Can I temporarily disable an alarm automation?
No, the automation should be modified or deleted.
Who can create or modify an alarm automation?
Only Legal Owner and Admins can do it.
Can I use the automation for my Smart Plugs?
This feature is not supported but it is in development.
How do I create an alarm automation?
- Ensure you have the latest version of the PhoneWatch app downloaded
- Open the App and from the home screen, select the ‘Automations’ mini-app
- Tap the “Add automation” button
- Choose the time and days you want the automation to run. Select the alarm mode to be set
- Tap “Next”, give the automation a name and push “Done”
How do I edit or delete alarm automations?
- Open the App and from the home screen, select the ‘Automations’ mini-app.
- In the Automations list view, tap the automation you want to edit.
- You can update all the details, the time, days, alarm mode, and name. Press “Done” to complete the edition.
- If needed, use the Delete button to remove the automation if you no longer need it.
Can I edit alarm automations on Mypages?
No, it is not possible to create, see, edit or delete automations in Mypages online. This must be done through your app.
How to skip a partial arm alarm automation?
In the automations view list, click the “skip for today” button. This button appears 30 minutes before the timed arming.
Will my automation work if the alarm is already fully armed?
No, the automation only runs if the system is disarmed or partially armed. If your alarm is fully armed, it will not change this status.
