It’s the central hub of the security system connecting all the components to PhoneWatch secure cloud service with protected triple connection using 4G, WiFi and Ethernet. It verifies every few minutes that each component is working properly, to ensure you are kept safe. 

The Security Gateway is always plugged in and will be placed in a suitable position in your home, usually in your living room. Our Security Advisor will discuss this with you on the day of your installation. 

No, the Security Gateway is built to have battery back-up to protect against power outages and intruders cutting off the power.
